FAQs

  • I shared this question for a long time, which is why I pursued this path myself. Regardless of your chronic illness we can find ways to help you move your body in a supportive way. It may be more limited than you would hope, or you may surprise yourself! I have experience with endometriosis, PCOS, POTS, EDS, arthritis, lyme, degenerative disc disease, and more. The key is to be honest about where your body is and to work towards goals at a pace your body can handle!

  • No! Your plan will be tailored to what you have access to. If you want to lift in a gym we can accommodate that, but if you’d prefer to work out at home that is perfectly fine as well.

  • We can work with any equiptment you have at home! I can recommend certain items to add as we go, but we can get started and get quite far with just your body and enough space to move a bit!

  • I recommend everyone get their doctor’s approval before beginning training. Especially those of us with chronic conditions! Ask your doctor if there are any limitations to training, or if there is anything that you would benefit especially from strengthening!

  • Your program will be updated to reflect your progress. Most people will have new exercises introduced every six weeks to challenge new muscle groups and keep things interesting!
